Lock 2 Park

Lock2Park.jpg (33960 bytes)

Lock 2 Park is located in the heart of downtown Akron, just west of Canal Park, the new home of the Akron Aeros, the AA Minor League affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. Lock 2 of the Ohio & Erie Canal played an important role in the development of Akron as a city in the 19th century. In fact, the federal government has recognized this area as a historic district, part of the National Heritage Corridor.
