  • Medium population densities predominate in: 1) the area west of the Central Business District, north of I-76, and south of West Market Street; 2) East Akron in Goodyear Heights and Ellet; and 3) the area roughly bounded by East Market Street on the north, Arlington Street on the east, Waterloo Road on the south, and Grant Street on the west.
  • The highest population densities are in the Highland Square Area and immediately south of it, the center of North Hill, northern Firestone Park, and the University of Akron-Middlebury area.
