| (02/20/09) - Local homeless shelters
(transitional and permanent supportive housing) will receive $3,563,121 over a
three -year period. The majority of the funds are for the continuation of existing
homeless shelters in the community. The programs target individuals with mental health
issues, substance abuse issues, battered women, and youths. Funds will also assist single
