(04/15/08) - Beginning Monday May 5th,
the city will perform its annual spring clean up service for its trash and recycling
customers.The process will be spread out over three weeks in May and follow
customers’ normal weekly pickup schedules. All refuse conforming to the city’s
rules and regulations placed curbside will be collected on customers’ regular, weekly
curbside pickup day.
Akron crews are instructed to collect everything placed curbside, regardless of whether
it fits inside the new trash containers.
Spring cleanup collection dates for:
- Monday Curb Service customers: Monday, May 5
- Tuesday customers: Tuesday, May 13
- Wednesday customers: Wednesday, May 21
- Thursday customers: Thursday, May 8
- Friday customers: Friday, May 16
