Chrissie Hynde with Mayor Plusquellic
(09/06/07) - Akron’s own Chrissie Hynde, of The Pretenders joins Mayor Don Plusquellic at his weekly news conference (above).

(Below) Chrissie serves up hors d' oeuvres outside her soon-to-open downtown restaurant VegiTerranean. Chrissie Hynde lauded Akron and the mayor on new housing opportunities in and around downtown. VegiTerranean is located in the new Northside Lofts condominiums.
