| (04/18/07) - To celebrate National Law Month,
the City of Akron will be offering free group information sessions. These sessions will be
held throughout the community during the month of May. Presentations will be given by
local attorneys and cover topics including identity theft, guardianship, government
benefits, living wills, estate planning and trust versus probate.
May was declared National Law Month by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys
(NAELA). According to their website, elder law involves representing and counseling
seniors, people with disabilities and their families.
