| Mayor Proclaims Goodyear Appreciation Day |
| Mayor Plusquellic presents proclamation to
Goodyear Chairman Robert Keegan, naming August 6 as "Goodyear Appreciation Day"
in the City of Akron. Mayor Plusquellic noted the contributions of the company over its
105 years, including millions of dollars invested by Goodyear in the community's
charities, cultural organizations, health care, |

Also recognized were the tens of thousands of volunteer hours donated by Goodyear
associates to the greater Akron community. Wednesday was also "Goodyear Good Deeds
Day." The company offered Aeros tickets and blimp rides to those outside the company
who have made a difference through their volunteer contributions. |
