FIREFIGHTERS RATIFY CONTRACT WITH CITY

Deputy Mayor for Labor Relations Jerry Holland announced today that Firefighters Local 330 has ratified its contract agreement with the City of Akron. Talks began in early October, and agreement was reached November 20 on a three-year deal covering nearly 400 members of Local 330. The contract gives members a 3% pay increase the first and second years and a 3.75% hike in the third year.
