| The Department of Planning
and Urban Development of the City of Akron, Ohio provides its citizens an opportunity to
comment on the proposed expenditure of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME, and
Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG). Towards this goal, the following is a presentation provided
at a public meeting on August 22, 2000. It describes programs and actions funded by CDBG,
HOME and ESG per the City of Akron, Ohio's FY2000 Consolidated Plan. The City is interested in your comments on needs in
the community that should be addressed by these funds. We welcome suggestions on future
programs or projects. In October 2000, you will have the opportunity to comment on the
proposed FY2001 Consolidated Plan.
