WHAT:
(06/19/06) - Presented by the University Park Development Corporation, the University Park
Art Fair at Grace Park is a one-day fine art and fine craft show and sale scheduled for
Saturday, August 19, 2006, in the heart of the University Park district in downtown Akron.
Expected to draw more than 75 artists and 1,000 guests, the fair will feature ceramics,
glass, wearable art, furniture, drawings & graphics, fiber, jewelry, leather, metal,
mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture, watercolor, wood art and more. In
addition, there will be a large-scale, community participation art project and artist
demonstrations. Admission is free. Food, drink and entertainment will be available.

Registration is $75/artist and must be submitted by July 7th.

ABOUT UPDC: The University Park Development Corporation (UPDC) is a non-profit
organization dedicated to the renewal and rebirth of the University Park neighborhood and
