| The City of Akron is proposing to construct
curb ramps in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at
One-Hundred-Forty-Eight (148) intersections located throughout the City of Akron, Summit
County, Ohio. No new temporary or permanent right-of-way is required for this project. The proposed project will not impact any cultural resources, suspect
hazardous waste sites, or ecological resources. The project will not result in substantial
impacts to the environment either individually or cumulatively. During construction,
temporary detours may be required. Pedestrian and vehicle access to buildings and
facilities shall be maintained at all times. Project construction should commence in the
summer of 2004 and be completed by the fall of 2004. Questions and/or comments regarding
this project may be submitted by December 5, 2003.
