| Community to Honor Dorothy Jackson for
Lifetime of Service |
| A community wide tribute to retired Akron
Deputy Mayor Dorothy O. Jackson is planned for Thursday, August 28, 2003 at the Tangier
Restaurant in Akron. The community will honor Miss Jackson for her lifetime of service to
senior citizens, children, the hearing impaired, the homeless and her hunger relief
efforts here and around the globe. Again, that is Thursday, August 28, 2003 at Tangier
Restaurant, 532 West Market Street, Akron, Ohio with a reception beginning at 5:30 p.m.
and dinner and program at 7:00 p.m.. Cost per person is $50. Those wishing to attend may
call (330) 375-2133 for an invitation. Reservations are due August 18. Seating is limited.
Reservations will be honored upon receipt of your check and your check is your
reservation.
