| AKRON HEALTH DEPARTMENT On January 1, 2011, the Akron Health District combined with the
Summit County General Health District in an effort to provide optimal access to the
highest quality public health services in the most cost-effective manner to all who live
in and visit the City of Akron and Summit County, Ohio. For information about all public

The Charter of the City of Akron provides that there will
still be a City of Akron Department of Public Health comprised of a five member
volunteer Health Commission and a Director of Health appointed by that commission. The
Akron Health Commission and the Director of Health will continue to assure the appropriate
delivery of public health services to the citizens of Akron, Ohio.
