Public swimming pools, spas, and bathing areas are inspected and licensed in accordance with State of Ohio Rules and Regulations. Regular inspections ensure that facilities, equipment, sanitary conditions and proper water chemistry are adequately maintained. Potential for injury and disease transmission is minimized; the bathing public is protected from injury and is provided sanitary conditions. Any complaints are investigated, and recommendations for compliance are made with State and local regulations
