CYNTHIA CAPREZ began her
career with the City of Akron on April 28, 1986. She first joined the court as a
secretary. In February 1997, she was promoted to her present position of Administrative
Assistant.
CYNTHIA has been married to her husband
Michael for 12 years. She is a graduate of the University of Akron. CYNTHIA attends
aerobics and fitness programs at the University. She also enjoys spending time with her 22
nieces and nephews.
CYNTHIA works directly with the Court
Administrator on a variety of levels that directly impact personnel, fiscal planning,
spending as purchasing/procurement and as a general scheduler and handler. CYNTHIA was
instrumental in making the transition between the outgoing administrator and the incoming
administrator a seamless one. CYNTHIA held down the fort, so to speak, while a new
administrator was sought and found and brought up to speed at the Municipal Court. She is
often the first person contacted by the public as a victim, witness, juror, defendant, or
