DAVID J. SWARTZ

DAVID SWARTZ began his career with the City of Akron as a Building Inspector on November 6, 1975. DAVID was promoted on August 15, 1977 to his present position of Building Inspector II.

DAVID has been married to Shawanna for 19 years. He has a son, Charles. DAVID is a member of the Five-County Building Officials Association (FBOA); Mt. Akra #680 Masonic Lodge; Tadmor Temple, and various other masonic orders. He enjoys woodworking, traveling, golfing, fishing, gardening, working on his 74 Ford Pick-up, and spending time with his family.

DAVID has worked closely with building contractors, citizens, and developers, and he has helped to promote development in the City of Akron. DAVID has been the

downtown inspector for the past 10 years. He has seen many changes in development since he began working for the City of Akron. DAVID is a very private person who enjoys doing his job as a building inspector.
